the game specific forum might help: https://www.gog.com/forum/theme_hospital?search=rotate%20mac

to search for a game forum: https://www.gog.com/forum ->in the bottom left search bar, search the game name or series
Don't you have to do some awkward long click for right click to invoke?

My suggestion is to check the manual for alternatives in keymappings.

Hold down the control key while clicking, this will right-click. Alternately, go to System Preferences > Mouse and tick "secondary click" and right-clicking will be enabled.
Pfft. Anyone who still uses one-button mice for Mac or otherwise has only himself to blame. They've only been discontinued for over a decade. (better late than never)

As one may wish, but they've actually just been iterating on the Magic Mouse series, such as the boneheaded switch to a lightning connector rendering it unable to be charged while in use.

It's the truth. Maybe they'll fix it for the probably upcoming Magic Mouse 3, unless Apple is in full headless chicken mode now.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Macs have had right click for a while. All the outdated ones at the college I work at have a right mouse button.
Guess some myths never die.

The MM can be configured for secondary clicks. Every Apple mouse since 2005 can. And it has gestures, touch scrolling and other stuff. Not a fan of it, but its far from being a one button mouse.

Actually Mac OS has had multi button mice support for 20 yrs now, no one was forced to use the (mostly silly) Apple mice. Some multi button mice worked even before that (over ADB, but with vendor-made drivers).

@ OP id just get a cheap USB mouse (or a decent one since you might get used to it ;), any will do for basic functions (so, right, left, middle click and back/forward buttons too usually), "gaming" mice with more buttons need dedicated drivers though (or some work to setup with third party software), so Logitech or MS are usually the best choice.

Yes, but by default those options are hidden away somewhere, and a MacOS user isn't expected to use them.

As for a cheap USB mouse, yeah. But why not get a trackball instead? :p
