UltraComboTV: Too be honest, I think Valve is every bit as bad as EA if not worse. Ever tried to use Steam offline mode for an extended period of time? Yeah, you won't be playing long. Thats some terrible DRM.
Tell me when Steam phones home and tells Facebook which client you use and for which game. Happened to me when I, unsuspectingly, played Mass Effect 2 I got from its recent free promo.
ea is evil?

I think you need a reality check on what evil really is

eumerius: Their games on gog makes ea less evil? Do you think so?
Unless C&C Ultimate Edition (or the First Decade) is on gog store, then EA is still the most !@#$ company in existence. The good old games of theirs is C&C; at least in my books. And they don't bother themselves for updating and tweaking the games that they fleece customers in Origin for, in order to be compatible with modern systems and run fine. They could let GOG do what GOG does best and simply share profit. But no, they prefer overcharging fans for buying something completely un-optimized and full of issues, instead.

Yeah, never mind child labor and sweatshops, oil spills and pay day loans, cower-ups and corruptions. the most !@#$ company in existence is the one that makes DLC's...

Fan patches do more than they'd be bothered to, though.

blotunga: If they'd bring Mass Effect with all DLCs included then yes. As it is, not really. Just look at Dead Space, it was free countless of times, yet here it sells for $20.

UltraComboTV: Personally I'll pay more to have DRM-less (Origin FREE) version. EA is one of the worst when it comes to over charging, but they do put games on sale here. I think deadspace is like $5 right now. I imagine we'll get Mass Effect 1 soon. It didn't have any online connecting, and its pretty old now.

I remember playing medieval 2 without logging into steam for one month. I mean , steam drm is not that bad.(okay f**k me)
I'll never use steam again though.
To me, ea is evil bc the pulled the servers to a game I had just bought to play with my brother. It was only a few years old and they didn't make any way to any without their servers. I was livid.

Now they are making dragon age drm free. That's a game that should always be available to people forever. Yay for them!
