IwubCheeze: You'll need that time cos AI War has a bit of a learning curve. You're gonna screw up lots when you start the game too ;)
.
Yeah I know and that's one of the drawbacks. I have a 1 hour gap between classes on Tuesdays, I plan to use that time -that I would normally use to lunch- to play a little and disconnect from everything, and then lunch in the 15min break that all classes have lol. A little intricate I know

Gal4cT1c: Couldn't find a good excuse not to buy AI War: -Linux compatible -check-
-Laptop friendly -check-
-co-op -check-
-Replayability -check-
-College student wallet friendly -check-
Now I need to find some friends to play (and time to play :p)

Too bad that Stardew valley is not on sale, I "borrewed it" and it's an awesome game, it will go on sale sooner or later.
If I had the game I would give it a try with you.

Smannesman: I hope some Connect titles get added tomorrow.
Abandon hope all ye who thinks the same. The only reason of turning GOG Connect on is to increase the sales. What would be the reason to make it now, when:
a) sale comes to its end,
b) perhaps some people have just paid to get the games, which would be now available for free?

phaolo: What do you think of these?

Good prices?
- Civilization 3 Complete - 3$
If you are interested in turn-based strategy games at all Civilization 3 definitely is worth that price. As it only arrived on GOG shortly you may get it at a higher discount in a few months though, but at least it's not as overpriced as Civilization 4. The only disadvantage is the missing support for other languages in the GOG release.
Please add more games on sale. Thanks

is STRONGHOLD CRUSADER HD going to be on sale soon? I am ready to buy. Thanks

Good luck to you. Keep in mind that AI War can be addictive. When your hour and 15 minute intervals are up, you might look at the time and go "Ah geez, times up already, maybe I should skip class" ;)
2D Action Games: Victor Vran, Forced Showdown, Grim Dawn????? WTF????

IwubCheeze: To anyone that has Crysis, did you have any trouble getting it to run on a laptop? Just wanna make sure before I buy it
You can only get a meaningless answer without the knowledge of what GPU you have in your laptop. You can use this benchmark list to look how well your laptop's GPU (including the integrated graphics) would run certain games:

notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphics-Cards

You can select games from the list (including Crysis' CPU and GPU benchmark), make sure to uncheck 'still available' then click 'restrict' if your GPU doesn't show on the page to see the archived GPU's.

On the Crysis game page it states "Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not supported. Integrated chipsets are not supported.". I just really hate the wording of "may work". That's why I asked if anyone had any problems running the game on laptops.

I did have problems with MOH:AA on my old laptop but was unable to change the GPU settings for some reason, they would always reset back to the defaults. After reinstalling the OS, I almost had the same problems with X-Wing and TIE Fighter but at this time adjusting the GPU settings was finicky but eventually it worked. However that laptop was purchased in 2010 and it blew up last summer. I realize it might be nothing, but that experience left a really bad taste in my mouth so when I see wording like "may work", I tend to get a bit skeptical.

If you tell what GPU you have on your laptop, others with that same laptop-GPU might reply, saying you have a laptop is still too general.
