dunno if anybody has seen this before or finds it interesting
but here is a compilation movie of the spoony one's complete ultime review with out the "humorous sketches"
its 4 hours and 40 minutes long
even if you liked the sketches switching to each new review was a bit of a pain in the arse

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnLiyYvQ3zE

i never played ultima so a lot of this goes over my head i have to say
Probably made my disgruntled Spoony patreon fans who were tired of him not making new stuff so they felt that making up comps would fulfill the void left by their lightened wallets.

I've seen this pattern before with underground music and the sickening diseases/cure that is bootlegs.
maybe i dont know
i dont really follow spoony
i just like the fact that all the reviews are in one place and i dont have to hunt for all the reviews

Thanks for sharing, but I actually like the sketches a lot, so I'll definately stick to the episodes. I also don't see switching between videos as a "pain", and it's not like I'm actually going to watch the whole 5 hours in one go :P

I just wish YT didn't force him to re-edit the original episodes, there's no music in some parts now, and the sound in those is all weird as the result.

Yeah, thankfully I made sure to burn a lot of his old shit to dvd. The new edited versions are crap. Way better with the old versions and the numerous metal and chiptune music in the episodes. The Ultima retrospectives aren't the same without the Motorhead and Manowar.

i did watch the full 5 hours in one go
by the end i was getting a bit ...annoyed because i wanted the damn thing to end

and even then i felt the ending was a bit lacking

There's a simple but hilarious sex joke there, but I'll let you fill it in with your own brain and then you can be offended at yourself.

Not a Spoony fan, but I enjoy his FF8 review (possibly my least favorite ff game). Although don't know if it's worth watching through the whole thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1njLpZDfUCQ&list=PLCjTX7Dv3khpqGVPQqkMf7HaQvbscTReY

I have never played any FF (except for maybe 1/3 of FF VII), but I love Spoony's reviews of the FF games. Especially VIII and X. I keep hoping against reason he makes a comeback with FF XIII-2 one day.
I get that it's hard to continue to make content and to be funny but damn he's been on a downward spiral for years now. He used to be so great but that's more than five years ago. Oh well - I guess the time for the caustic critics are over.

I think that the way "youtubers" evolved is also partially to blame. I mean, you work hard on jokes, being informative, video editing etc. and then it turns out a bunch of people who just play games and stream it, maybe screaming into the mics sometimes, have left you and your hard work in the dust. Could demoralise anyone, especially if they had issues to begin with.
I first read "Spoony" as "Spooky" and I was prepared for skeleton memes.
I'm disappointed.

If you read "Spooky" than you should have been prepared for Agent Fox "Spooky" Mulder.

<---and you got that. So no reason to feel dissapointed.

Breja: Agent Fox "Spooky" Mulder.
I have no idea who that is.
