Anybody else having a problem acquiring the THE SOCIALITE badge for the 2016 Winter sale? I attempted to Share it on my Facebook page, the Share goes through, but it sticks at a blank page afterwards (apparently not able to properly close the window based on the URL or possibly verify that it was actually shared). In any case the badge doesn't gain even though it was Shared, so I just end up deleting the Share regardless... I already mentioned the sale on 3 different sites anyways (private Steam Group forums, friends-only on Facebook & publicly on my Twitch channel), directly after pointing out the free promotional game starting the sale (same post); it's not like I really need an auto-generated Share on top of it, but it's the only way to get the badge & additional XP, but I don't intend on leaving it there if the badge isn't recognizing the share...

Just wait some time. The badges tend to lag behind (as well as sometimes the XP for buying something). It should be showing up soon.
(and you don't even need to really share, just clicking on the share icon thing at the top of the sale page gives you the badge)

Yeah, the badge isn't working for me either. Clicked the Facebook share button, it worked no problem, still no badge.

Hmmm... He's right. I finally got it today, clicked on Share, popup opened & checked my status while the window was still open (not Shared yet). I got the badge this time without even having to push the Share through, so possibly a script on the Share window trying to close it after you Share it that's stalling the window & causing the badge to get revoked. ...Or possibly they just fixed it by removing the verification step after seeing this thread, seeing as I tried sharing this about 3 times on the first day & didn't get the badge, but it seems to be working now (at least the badge is registering), so thanks for the tip onarliog.

EDIT: I know that moonshineshadow stated this before, but didn't explain why we weren't getting it even when we did fully share it...
