Challenge question for the next post:

Who would win: a Kreegan colony infestation (Might and Magic 6-7, Heroes of Might and Magic III), or a pre-genophage krogan (Mass Effect) horde? Both sides start with 1 colony on an Earth-like planet with no other sentient species. 2 species with similar names and similar colonization habits, considered to be aggressive and dangerous pests in both of their respective galaxies. Some things to keep in mind.

Kreegan:
-mainly use spaceships to spread colonies, this could include using them to quickly spread colonies around the planet. (MM6)
-Known for throwing fire. Smaller ones throw AoE fireballs, their overlords throw heavy Incinerate fire bolts and summon meteor showers (MM6/MM7)
-Colonies dig tentacles underground and leech the resources out of the ground in a large area.
-Insect hive hierarchy with 1 main breeder per colony
-Colonies are powered by either a fusion or antimatter reactor, nuking them from orbit leaves a much larger crater than you would expect
-Move quickly between colonies through gateways (see HoMM III)

Krogan:
-no central breeder
-clan hierarchy
-clans tend to fight each other in the absence of a common enemy and unite when they find one
-have previous experience fighting insect-species (Rachni wars)
-mainly use spaceships to siege enemies
-drop asteroids and space stations on enemies
-nuke first and ask questions later
-deploy large tanks

Last species with a colony standing wins.

Im more fan of David Tennant as Doctor Who, but since I have to choose between twelfth (Peter Capaldi) and eleventh Doctor Who (Matt Smith) i would say that Peter Capaldi's Dr. Who would win because of experience or even 13th incarnation would win if 12th incarnation would be killed.
