Soulcalibur got that honor. Spawn is headed to Mortal Kombat next, somewhat coincidentally many moons after he himself had a run in Soulcalibur (and he'll be voiced by Keith David - a nice treat for all the nerds who remember the HBO Spawn cartoon). Maybe by Mortal Kombat XX Geralt or Triss will be tearing out hearts and spines among whoever happens to be in that iteration of the game by then (Johnny Cage's ashes in an urn or something).
