Because the game in question is *ABANDONED.* Get it?
These games are still available for sale in second-hand stores like E-Bay. They were once for sale and frankly, still are now. But somehow the fact you cannot buy a "brand new" copy gives you the right to make your own for free? That somehow they immediately have no value when peopel are buying them for real money second-hand?
They're in second-hand stores, sure, and then? They're no longer sold first-hand. Second-hand they can sell at obscene amounts of cash, and in either case, the original publisher sees nil. So how is it any better? Like I said, if I throw money out of the window equal to the value of the game I downloaded, you'd be happy.
Pookamustard. You are a thief! Fuck off!
Breja, you are a thief. Fuck off!
Unfortunately, I'm here to stay. Unfortunately, you're provoking Breja to stay even more. You're doing a good job at the contrary of what you're saying you want.
All of you are as immoral as they come.
He who insults just about everyone who disagrees with him has the right to say who's immoral and moral how?
GoG! You should make a statement about this! Many of your forum goers are openly advocating piracy on your website. By their own claims, your silence on the matter legitimizes their piracy....
What I forgot to mention is that 'piracy' of games that used to be sold ages ago but are no longer in circulation is obviously a very stupid matter to be concerned with. Financially, you're not gaining any gains from the games you ceased to sell, so are you even going so far as to LOSE MONEY on enforcing the laws on games you no longer sell? It's a very stupid move for anyone who has any idea about how any for-profit business works, that is to GAIN PROFIT, not throw your money around on useless visits to the court for an equally stupid matter.
Not like GOG is concerned with this argument anyway. GOG doesn't say anything about this argument because it's not their business. CD Projekt RED used to be that before it finally learned that this leads nowhere.
