Elmofongo: I apoligize for linking this but:
http://kotaku.com/why-quiet-wears-that-skimpy-outfit-in-metal-gear-solid-1729329735 Amusing how Kotaku talks about Quite from MGS5 as if she was the only "sexualized" female of the whole series, completely forgetting the likes Sniper Wolf, EVA, and the B&B unit from MGS4.
YOU FORGOT SNAKE'S BODYSUIT FROM MGS4.
Other than that; they are judgmental and hypocritical. No one complained about ''Hot Ryu'' but instead the female game journos made up gymnastic exercises to justify their horniness. Either way they are people who hold the belief that gender defines ''minorities'' more than anything else. In essence; they're saying women need female characters to play as because they believe women's self identity is influenced by her gender and nothing else. They fail to have any regard as to whether individual experiences or anything else defines it and hence dismisses women's experiences, personality, views and everything in general and reduces them to the level of gender different and nothing else.
Same with this case. They dismiss everything else about quiet and focus only on her being female and her being dressed that way. This will offer neither constructive criticism nor any advice on how women are portrayed in games (which isn't their or anyone's fucking business because freedom of expression means you can create a game with bimbo if you want to and not have these ''liberals'' who act more like conservatives question its right to exist ; and rightly so).
