You can see that creating multiple accounts is against FORUM CoC.

Not sure they would enforce this unless you did specific things.

(There might be something in ToS too I haven't checked.)

Bigghu: The last free game (Deep Sky Derelicts) when I went to activate it, it turned into a gift instead of adding it to my account.
Well, it sure shows up in both your accounts (attachment).

My best guess would be that you had purchased the game already on your bigger account at an earlier time, therefore it didn't get added as a new game to your game shelf, but you got a gift key, instead.

On your smaller account, you didn't own the game already, so it got added as a new game to your shelf.

Have you checked your "Orders & Settings" on your bigger account already?
(go to "Order & Settings" --> search for "Deep Sky Derelicts" --> see what purchase date it shows)

I'm pretty sure my assumption is correct.

I stumble over games that I have already purchased and then forgotten about them, more often then I like to admit.

Braggadar: You do use it. You just admitted to logging into it and claiming a freebie. You use it for "testing", remember?!?
When I say use it is in the sense of playing with it. Not even downloading any offline game I downloaded. In fact, I only played offline at the very beginning when I created this account in 2017. Nowadays I only play for Galaxy.

I believe this happened because a moment before, I activated it in an alternative account that I have for testing and after I entered and went to activate it in my main one, it was as if it had already been activated.

gog2002x: I really shouldn't add my 2 cents since it's not going to help you resolve anything here.

But. I do suggest you read the GOG's user agreement as someone pointed out, just in case some activities are considered bannable. Making a post about it before reading that, might just making it easier IF it does violate the terms, in the event GOG needs to take action.

It's best not to exploit using 2 accounts since any gains you might get from the tests, may not be worth the risk to your main account.

Also, as someone mentioned earlier, are you sure you don't already have the game in your Library from a past purchase?

I actually use the account to get goodies and some games I already have, but I got a free code. Also free games that I have no interest in getting on my main account. Lately I've been picking up these games that GOG offers just for the sake of it. But if that can't be done anymore, I stop.

It's not a game. This is a gift I got from Amazon for the GWENT game and I hid it. This is another issue that has not been resolved.

Ice_Mage: I'm looking at your list of games and Deep Sky Derelicts is there. Does it really not turn up if you enter deep in the search box on the library page? Did you double-check the hidden games as well? What about your orders history?
In the history only the present that I cannot use. I'm going to visit my profile without being logged in to see if the game appears.
