Can I get get a refund so that I can buy it back? Man, trying to support a Japanese title and you get back stab 26 days later :(
That happens to everyone.

I had a game go 50% off less than 24 hours after I bought it. :P TRUE

If supporting the title was high on the agenda, at least you supported it more by paying the full price.
I haven't been following this game, is it a sale or a price drop?

Either way, I tend to agree with the OP that that's rather ridiculous. It's inevitable that a game you buy here when released is going to be discounted by more at some point, but less than a month is rather ridiculous.

It's one thing if one buys a game that's been here for a while and the price happens to drop or go on sale a short while later, that's inevitable, somebody is going to be in that position any time something goes on sale or gets a price adjustment. But, doing that with a new game is rather ridiculous.
Send an email to support, they might be willing to help you out.
I don't know much about the game either. From the OP I assumed we were talking deeeep discount.

25% off I get makes you wish you'd held your horses, but "back stab" seems a bit strong over $11, even as someone for whom that's basically 2-months worth of gaming budget.

As zeo says, ask support and hope for the best (and maybe phrase it more persuasively), but I don't think I'd hold my breath.
It kind of stings, to be honest.

Here's a reminder that wanting to support a game does not collide with wanting pay less than full price based on one's economy.

Personaly I wanted to play it and didn't want to potentialy wait for months until the first price drop, but hardly did I expect it to... flop? in price after barely 30 days.

o.O Your monthly gaming budget is $5.50? Ouch!

Pretty much.

I splurged back in the Oct/Nov cycle after saving up ($18.73), but the months since then I've been limited to $1.49, $6.47, $1.00, $2.00. So yeah, I try to average around $5/mo over the year.

Fortunately we live in a time where $1 can nab some good stuff from time to time, and I've gotten a few good games off GAs - just finished Diablo won via Doc's generous competition a few weeks back, and started up Mini Metro which I got a few months ago. With that small amount I was still able to get a couple good games to donate (Glass Masquerade, Tangledeep, etc.)

So hey, I wish things were better, but it's not terrible.

Well, at least you won't be suffering the backlog "problem" a lot of us have here. ;) It is indeed nice that a little money can still get one some very good games at times.

Not only that, but with all the freebies given away these days whether through GOG, Humble, Steam (through dev promotion), or Epic, PC Gamers even with a low budget such as yourself can get a whole lot of game. Sure makes me wish something like that had been around when I was a kid when we were lucky to get 4-5 games in a year.

Not if you already downloaded it, then no you can't.

Plus, that game is still a bad deal even at it's current discount, given that it doesn't give GOG users Achievements even though it does give Steam users Achievements.

And that had long ago already proved that NISA has little to no respect for GOG customers.
And Steel Rats went from a 50% discount to a 90% discount in the month before the Spring Sale. Rather than complain about paying $8 more than I would have, I just continued my everyday activities. If you have the money to drop $50 on a new release, you have the money to swallow having paid $11 more than you would have otherwise.

It might be an unpopular opinion, but if the price was a certain amount and you though it was fair, the deal is done. There is no right to go back; if everyone did this, there would be plenty of refunds demands during each sale.
Contracts must be respected, you can't retract your word once all is already done, nothing illegal has been perpetrated.

So much this. Even if the product got 50% cheaper the next day, it would not change this fact.
I was expecting outrage from the title, but hey, it is 25% Off for about 10€;discoun,t it may be coming early after the first release but not as you make it... Get over it! <_<
