Magnitus: I do a similar thing to 3 of my friends. I get them 20$-30$ of GOG games for their birthdays.

I get the games ahead of time when they are on promo so that I can pack more games in for the buck. I go wild during the mega-specials where a big chunk of the catalog is heavily discounted.

Been doing it for about 3 years now. I figure they each must have somewhere between 50 and 100 games on GOG by now.

I'd like to say it's selfless, but really I just got tired of hearing them talk about all those brand new hip DRMed AAA games from Steam I didn't play and then see them turn around puzzled whenever I'd mention some lesser known games from the GOG catalog.

I see those guys often enough that it just gets annoying when we never play the same games.

For 60$-90$ a year, I can muscle my way into that part of our conversations.

Just watched it.

Disturbing. We as parent are open minded and liberal, but absolutely oppose this normalisation of the sexualisation of young children.

The irony is, my daughter went to the Clothes Show Live event through school (art and design). A number of her class dolled themselves up thinking they could get scouted, but it was Em in old jeans and t-shirt that got scouted. She didn't follow it up, not her thing.

Trash isn't countable. You can have 1 piece of trash or 2 pieces of trash or you can have trash. Trashes is a verb.

Ah Ha! So I was right! It was being used incorrectly. Looks like our friend Nietzsche is not as elite as he thought he was. :P
