CarChris: From "Pirates of the Flying Fortress" (expansion of Two Worlds 2).
Always loved those little lizards hugging their respective orbs. :)

That person pictured, her skin...which colour is the paint, and which is the skin? I find it makes the image funnier if you assume the pink is the paint.

That assumption is correct: the dark brown is the original color. :)

For many reasons I know it must be so, but my brain doesn't like seeing it that way around. I think it has an expectation that dark pigments are applied to lighter surface, like a figure on a clay pot. And because the shadows make give the appearance that they are the clan of the hypothermic fingertips.

Despite her hairstyle, I thought that pink is her original skin color! That's because I thought that, in cases where people don't paint their whole body, they usually paint their forearms, not the hands (as in cooks and footballers). And usually they paint their faces (as in some primitive tribes), not the area around the ears!

Edit: She could be the, illegitimate, daughter of a tribe chief with a white woman, and, to avoid gossip from the others in the tribe, tried to paint herself to look like one of them! :D

And accidentally painted herself to be a jigsaw of both of them :D

Thus, honoring both her parents!!
That reminds me of those photo walls where you stick your head and possibly other extremities through holes to make it look like you're <whoever>, and the paint is used to look more authentic (which kind of defeats the purpose of these walls, but hey, to each their own. ;) ).

I was in the mood to beat Gato Roboto again. I couldn't 100% my second attempt. So I'll probably try again sometime soon. Fun game though.

I really love the aesthetic, I'm always just wondering whether I would experience visual fatigue after a while due to the reduced color palette. Seems extra work for your brain to distinguish enemies from environment for example.

I found the palette...palatable? It's just an option. But I agree some do make my eyes burn. And I never use certain colors. Not even idly.

.erercott:
Ah, didn't know there are these cartridges that give you other color schemes (all two-tone still). That's something at least. I'm wishlisting GR, thanks.
Jagged Alliance 2 1.12

I continue the fight in the second city of the game in the “Experienced” difficulty mode.
