i just wanted to ask you how long does GOG need for a refund ticket. I bought a game on 04.09 but bought it for a wrong platform.

Or is GOG's design language really that bad?

Somehow i did not checked it or just thought that windows version would automatically be for steam.

The last time i asked for a refund they answered in less than 2 hours, but my refund was straight back to the GOG wallet. If you want to receive back the money, maybe it will take longer.

DRM-free is always an upgrade to any other version.

All platforms should be there for the game; At least that the devs release for. You don't select the Mac, Win or Linux platform when buying said game, if they are there all are available. (Too bad Android isn't there too, but meh)

So did he buy a game that didn't support the OS he wanted?

I think he is saying that he thought GOG was a discount Steam key reseller, so therefore he bought a game from GOG with that idea in mind, and so he was expecting to receive a Steam key from his purchase on GOG, only to discover after he bought the game on GOG that GOG is not actually discount Steam key reseller.

And so he wants a refund for that reason.

That makes more sense.

Though Humble Bundle would probably be the better place to go; at least if they have a good bundle or sale going on as they offer steam keys (far more than gog keys).

You are totally correct. i wanted to receive a Steam key. I know that DRM free is better. But i have all my games in steam and also want to hunt the achievements that are offered within Steam for that game.

It's a new trend started by Whoopi Goldberg. Step 1: imagine the desired OS; Step 2: buy the game; Step 3: make a fuss about it and demand money back.
