Hello all

I just wanted to make two suggestions for our library pages:

First, please add a go to page function. I currently have seven pages, and if I want to get to the last page I have to scroll all the way to the bottom of each page and click the next page button seven times. I label all my games with tags, so when I buy a new set of games I have to do this or search for each one. When It's bigger sales like this, I may buy twenty or thirty games at once, so I don't even remember every single one of them.

Second, please add a way to search for games with no tags on them. This would help to alleviate the same problem. Maybe there could just be a "no tags" option under the tags.

Both of these additions to the page would be pretty simple to add and would make it much more convenient to use our libraries.

I love GoG, please continue to do what you're doing!

Edit - Sorry about the topic, it was suppose to read "Suggestions for library", but my t-pad turned on again and messed it up without me noticing.

As a workaround, take a look at Adalia Fundamentals. You can change the number of games per page, which might make it easier to navigate.

(It has tons of other useful features too).

Where it displays the current & total page numbers, if you hover the mouse over the current page number a box should appear around it - you can click here and enter the page number you want to navigate to

I will go try that now, I never noticed it! Thanks

Well, I'll be damned. Now if they would put that up at the top of the page (as the OP suggests), that would be more helpful yet.

I actually LOVE the typo because it gives me an excuse to tell a favorite story of mine.

There's a legend of a sports writer from a slightly bygone era, who used to like to lubricate his literary mind with a few adult beverages when he'd write his evening copy.

Supposedly, late one night / early one morning his editor / the typesetting room / whatever have a piece to print... that is complete and utter nonsensical gibberish. They sort of groan and wonder what the heck they're supposed to do with this and what they have for options to run instead, when a particularly observant person notices it might not exactly be gibberish...

Sure enough they're able to perfectly "translate" the article when they figure out the guy set up at his typewriter with his fingers on the wrong keys. If they "transposed" his fingers to the right starting keys, voila!, they had themselves a perfectly coherent article, ready to print ;)

I don't know why, but I've always loved that story.

That is incredible. Good Story Brother.

Oh phew glad you liked it - when I saw the thread title in the main forum area I figured something odd / similar must have happened to the original poster and I came in here dying to tell the story.

I'm glad someone enjoyed it because I thought it was about 50 / 50 that everyone would just be sitting here saying "Uh, what the heck was the point of that now?"

That's why people flock to these places. It's the stories. No, I'm wrong, it's the drama, but I like stories better. Have you ever heard the one about Nate the Snake?

Thanks much, I too didn't know that.

If you use my script you can put a second pagination box at the top of the page, one of the more generally useful features I think.
It is far handier to use than scrolling to the bottom every time.
