Why the hell would they ever do it like that? Every other game I got for free is labeled with 0.00 price tag and suddenly I get an e-mail with order for 10 USD? What am I to think else than that this is some kind of scam or fraud?
Really, GOG?

1. See email for a game I didn't buy in a currency I don't use.
2. Panic.
3. Check my account for said order. Is the email a new phishing scam? Or has my GOG account been compromised?
4. Find order in my orders history.
5. Panic even moar. GOG account possibly hacked!
6. Compare order with previous orders - where's the payment type info? Shouldn't the order have the type of payment like all my other orders.
7. Breathe a sigh of relief. Stop panicking.
8. Realise it could be the whole site that got hacked, and maybe it's an elaborate phishing scam scheme. Start panicking again.
9. Check on General Discussion forum hoping to find a topic about this...
10. Breathe another sigh of relief. Stop plans to burn it from orbit - it's the only way to be sure!
Good news! Gog is now using ai to predict what you'd like & streamlining your enjoyment by allowing to to buy for you.

In all seriousness this panicked me initially to but maybe it's just an intern screw up or something so no harm done!
Good thing I read this thread before I completely panicked. But I did manage to send a ticket to the support, but they're probably composing a mail for all of us.
got the same email,

the strangest thing is, I can see the game in my library

but when I go to the store page, it is still available to buy for 3EUR, can even put it in my wishlist

for any other game I already own I see a message: owned, buy as a gift?

have fun,
Frank
So surprised so many peeps didn't know that the game is free for owners of the original. Something's wrong GOG, don't cha think?! :p
