You could try putting a ferrite bead on your audio cable. They are inexpensive and you can get ones that simply clip on.

Darvond: You do realize you can probably pick up speakers immune to spectrum interference at Goodwill, right?
LOL - might be time to finally pony up for the Klipsch 2.1s I've always eyed (I forgot that the little satellites that sit on the desktop are so small).

Awesome pointers all - I might try that ferrite bead or cable looping as a stopgap (I'm actually pretty sure I have a bead in the cellar somewhere that came with a monitor or set of cords or something).

I didn't realize a halfway decent set of speakers would basically be assured to erase the problem. Sounds like that might be the best bet.
Followup!

So based on this thread (thanks everyone!) I splurged and (finally!) grabbed a set of Klipsch 2.1s . I remember drooling over them in a PC Gamer magazine two decades ago. Just plugged them in and blasted Metric - Help I'm Alive. Can't wait to see how gaming tonight goes.

And no, no I don't hear my wifi signal anymore ;)

This is the second pair of these speakers I've purchased. The first set went into the bedroom where I sleep to the tranquil sounds of distant thunderstorms each night. The new pair was placed at the desktop workstation and sounds fabulous. The closest thing I've owned that sounded comparable in this price range was the Klipsch desktop media 2.1. But honestly, the Swan speakers and sub sound superior in every way. Well done Swan!
