Horror!
Least favorite is absolutely death metal type stuff. No contest. Never listen to it, and when it comes on I cringe and get away from it as fast as possible. Literally hurts me to hear it.

I'm also not really into rap at all unless there's a strong singing component, like say Jay-Z's "New York" which to me is an Alicia Keyes song. However when I hear straight-up rap it's more just annoying than literally revolting like heavy metal is.
Commercial Hip Hop/Rap. Of all the soulless, sellout pop music genres out there I can't think of anything that's been more bastardized and full of phonies than this, the beats are almost always annoying and the bars are vapid, degenerate garbage.

Good rap comes from independent artists.

Other than that I also despise grindcore.

Also hurts me to hear it.

As I said, I'd rather listen to an operatic soprano singing in the upper range, or a piccolo in the upper range, rather than listen to something like death metal.

How do you feel about Weird Al's takes on the genres?

I don't like all Weird Al songs. He is great, but sometimes I wished he would prefer other music styles.

Weird Al is a legitimate musical genius, and can take the worst of the worst, like Blurred Lines, and turn them into gold.

Godwin called and told me to say nazi rap and nazi rock. Actually anything nazi, really. ;P

Apart from that, I believe there is at least a possibility for something good in most every genre, and as with every media and art, lots of rubbish to wade through in order to find it.

That being said, I don't really like German schlager music, German carnival music, Après-Ski/Mallorca party hits, and what officially counts as traditional German (Alpine?) folk music (think interprets in dirndl and lederhosen), and I'm much less likely to listen to country and pure techno music. Saccharine anime soundtracks and k-pop don't do anything for me either. I'm not a fan of vocoders and autotune elements, and I don't like a certain type of happy pop music that just feels cheesy and phony to me, made to please and not bother anyone (thereby becoming pretty forgettable).

Contrary to many other posters here I like jazz and love rap though, so there's that. ;)

Rap and Heavy Metal (sorry!!).... i dont understand how either is actually what's called "music" (rap is basically talking and heavy metal is just a load of people shouting....neither can carry a tune)
(Gangster) Rap and Jazz, can't say anything regarding Country, Gospel or other genres as I haven't suffered through that many songs so far. I can say that I disliked the songs that I listened to though.
It seems many of you haven't listen Gabba yet...

Pop punk is my favorite. I love the driving tempo, the loud guitars, the lyrics, and the pop influence.
I like bot music... ^^^
Hard to name a specific genre, but I've never liked too artistic music.
