So, Borderlands 3 is coming out... perhaps by the end of the year, if their Twitter slip-up was legit. What do you think the chances of the first two coming here are? We do, after all, have Gearbox and 2K games here already. Would they be willing to let us have their DLC-fests?

I'd love to have the first two here. The third will be complete crap. Can't tell you why without offending a lot of people. :)

Hmm, Borderlands 2 has some forms of DRM I believe. Although I did play the first one and the second one a bit I liked them and I would love to see them here. On the other hand... what Randy did wasn't very ethical as well. Bring it on! B-) Why is it going to be crap? For every item you pick up you must pay $0.03?

The first one is also getting an Enhanced edition release in a few days. 2K has been surprisingly good about bringing some of their newer stuff like XCOM, BioShock, and Mafia, so I think we could see the Borderlands games show up sooner or later.

The Handsome Collection Ultra HD Texture Pack thing? That's tomorrow.

Rumors it may be Epic exclusive so coming out end of next year is probably a more conservative estimate

Well, on non-Epic storefronts at least. But at the very least they do seem to be trying to renew interest in the older installments. That Handsome collection was a very tempting siren, one I could not turn down.

The 2nd and best looter-shooter (though I do have a soft spot for and do enjoy Hellgate London (both the original modded with the Revival 4.0 mod and the much maligned recent Hanbitsoft release of Hellgate Global/Tokyo - since I seem to have solved my 1fps issue with it) - though the second game was easily the best... the Pre-sequal was rather meh

Destiny / Antham / The Division took a crap on what made Borderlands - namely story elements and the humor: may not be to everyone's tastes, but at least they existed! - great and went backwards (can't comment on others - particularly Warframe as I haven't played it)

As for seeing it on GOG... never say never... though I wouldn't hold my breath

Played 1 and 2 and have to say that it just becomes tedious in single-player after a while. I finished both 1 and 2 with all the DLCs once and I have 0 desire to come back.

I enjoyed #1 & #2 and i'd like to see them getting released here so i can have a DRM-Free version of both. Not hyped about #3. Not until i see it here, that is.

I want to get a copy of the remastered BL1. It is my favorite in the series. I liked the tone, the world, the characters andthe way the story unfolded. The DLC was pretty weak.

I hope BL3 is more like 1 than 2 in terms of the tone (but that is not going to be the case as Brick playing the sax is a clear nod to the BL2 flavor).

Also, it would be great if the BL3 doesn't turn the heroes of BL2 into losers like BL2 did to the BL1 characters. Turning the original vault hunters into weaklings, fools, alcoholics and killing off characters and treating them as disposable trash sucked. Mordecai does have a new pet on his shoulder or it is a cyborg Bloodwing.

Also, I really hope the shooting mechanics are like the first game and not the sequel. Having to carry around so many different guns because you need shock for shield then change fire for flesh, then change over to corrosive for the metal bots and later in the game the reliance on slag became tedious. Just let us keep the best guns we have and let us enjoy shocking, burning, corroding enemies as a bonus rather than switching between 2 dozen guns based on element and type depending on ammunition availability and situation.

I will get BL3, but I will wait for a year.This series always gets a GOTY collection that includes all the DLC for half price and then quarter original price on sale.
