Why do you want to use an extra program (Lutris) to run the game?
According to a quick search, SGW3 should run well under wine.

Why complicate stuff unnecessary?

Lutris is supposed to simplify installing games by providing scripts that set up the game in wine with all the required workarounds (DLLs, reg keys, etc.)

I haven't used Lutris, but that's the basic idea. OP should review the setup script provided by Lutris and go from there.

Edit: maybe check your internet connection as well. Lutris downloads the software in addition to installing it, and "Source Does not exist" might suggest an inability to access either the game's installer, or any extra files linked to in the script

Thanks for the insights.
Ironically, the simplifying process doesn't seem to work for the OP.
I see the OP has also made a thread at https://forums.lutris.net/t/sniper-ghost-warrior-3-successfull-fail/18152 and has posted this there:
**Update I got this to work by not installing everything. Because Lutris seems to delete all the downloaded install files the second the initial install completes it then deletes all the optional things it asks to install at the begining. So it creates its own failure conditions if you select anything more than the base game.
See, things like this is why I do not use Lutris.
To continue on the theme of dumping on Lutris, it feels like it's been a while since anyone last made reference to it

Indeed, I rarely if ever touch Lutris but I do use it here and there to see what the community has found to be the best wine version, reg entries and so on.

The game had some stutter when I finally got it working but turns out It does not like V-Sync being enabled.

@BreOl72 As for the why complicate things? Lutris isn't complicating it's simplifying. If you want a quick base of which Wine version to use, auto install stupid .net packages etc the game needs it's much faster than trying against system Wine to find out there is an issue. For example my system Wine is 8.8...Tarkov will not run on anything past 7.20 for now. So this is why you use Lutris or Bottles as some games are obnoxiously picky about Wine versions.
