So I got the Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack, which includes the expansion, Alien Crossfire. However, after downloading, I noticed the xpansion is not in my files. Any ideas on how to get it?
Thanks

If you are using offline installers, look for "terranx.exe" in your installation folder to play the expansion.

If you are using Galaxy, check post #5 at this thread: https://www.gog.com/forum/sid_meier_s_alpha_centauri_/how_does_one_select_to_play_smax
Well, normaly when you start the game, it asks if you want to play SMAC:AC or the vanilla version. At least that`s what I remember from having it installed the last time.

Generally speaking, the standalone Windows installers will create a Start menu group for the game, which contains a shortcut for anything not accessible from the game or an intermediate launcher (and I assume there's something similar for other OSes). I don't have AC, but I assume this is the case for its expansion.

Yea, when i installed the GOG version i got both version desktop shortcuts. Perhaps the OP unchecked create desktop shortcuts?

And assuming using Windows 10, which is the most sun of a bitch OS ever made for finding stuff, your going to have a hard time finding it.
