Anyone know or have experienced slowness on GOG site and/or galaxy client?

Site is very very slow for me atm and galaxy client doenloads at 3mbps (my connection speed is 25mbps). Other sites work normal and speed tests are good.

Too much traffic? servers down? what's going on?

site is running fine for me, it might be just a strange routing problem. give it some time.

Yawn, another Galaxy = problems. Me, no Galaxy, no problems.
To go with your question however, I have hi-speed net, and 3 mbs is not bad, I can normally have up to 6 GOG downloads going at 700kbs at any one time through browser. Doubt you will get any more than that due to bandwidth allowance.

Galaxy needed more work, but thats weather or not you think Galaxy should exist, I think it should have been some sort of DRM free MP backend, but too late for that to happen.

cheers guys my speed is still a bit dodgy and my ISP haven't responded yet but I guess 3mbps is better than 0 mbps :)

I checked with our IT guys and everything appears to be working on our end. Have there been any internet outages or any other weird activity in your region by any chance?

it may be a regional thing, my speed got back to normal rate today so i think it was definitely on my end, still don't know what though. My ISP as is the nature of ISP's deny any responsibility :|
