Hello

I have been using GoG Galaxy for about two years now, and never had any problems with it. Today I tried to download a game, and the download speed initially starts well, but quickly drops to about 0.5 MB/s and stays there. On occasion it somewhat jumps up to around 3 MB/s, but it almost immediately drops back. I usually download games at a decent rate, around 8+ MB/s.
My firewall is turned off, I did not limit my download speed, my internet is working just fine and I can also download games on other platforms at the usual rate. Can anyone help?

Try rebooting if you haven't already, or resetting your router(unplugging it then waiting a minute then plugging it back in). Hope that helps.

The only thing I can think of right now is to unplug your router for 1 minute and reboot your computer and see what happens. If not you can always contact gog support to help you. In the meantime you can always download your offline installers from the gog website.
