This one looks interesting and I wasn't even aware of its existence, good job promoting it Mr. developer.
(EDIT:
NOT IN ANYMORE, decided I can buy it myself.)
Onto the Q&A!
Fairfox: Do you prefer gamies 'n' movies taht make you think, ooor are you moar a disposable in-yer-face junkie?
Both have value, no? Every time I say to myself I prefer one, I find myself going for the other the next day. Just this past month I've marathoned the Longest Journey series again, only to take breaks playing Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu.
I don't know, as life gets busier (end of school, new job, family etc.), I started to have these well defined slices in the times allocated for gaming. If I'm back from work and tired, it feels nice to kick back with a glass of whiskey/cup of coffee and play a story-driven game. On the weekends, I enjoy maximizing my interactions with gameplay elements, the more keys pressed, the better it feels. Then I spend hours playing spectacle fighters or optimizing my scoring paths in my favorite shmups.
Fairfox: Do you prefer abstract stories or moar concrete?
Concrete or abstract, I have a strong preference for works of art that are self-contained. Open-ended narratives and abstract representation of ideas are all okay. But I should be able to think about them, and arrive at reasonably satisfactory answers of my own without going out of my way to read addendum published on the movie's website because they couldn't fit it into the film, or having knowledge of the entire catalog of works by some obscure and culturally irrelevant (to my background) novelist from 1930s. Making the audience think hard is fun, but not giving them sufficient material to arrive at conclusions is a waste of their time. I don't like to speculate on take aways of a work with zero evidence.
Neither, I'll take a black coffee. I'm limited on my calorie intake for reasons. Not that I can't allocate enough space for an extra 200kcal, but I'd rather spend that on something more enjoyable than milk diluting my espresso. Maybe a Snickers with my coffee?
