I suddenly noticed that SiN Gold is now published by Night Dive Studios on GOG.

Did I miss the announcement of the transfer of publishing rights from Ritual Entertainment (or its current owners) to Night Dive Studios, or was it done quitely?

Does that mean Night Dive would own the rights to the source code, too?

I hope so, but I can't find any news about it.
Most importantly, does that mean Sin Episodes will finally get a conclusion?
Cool! Maybe they're working on a remaster to the game.

I hope we at least get SiN Emergence here, even though it's overpriced.
Does this mean game will get some kind of update? It never run well on my PC-s.
I'm not sure what it means but Stephen Kick responded with the gif of Homer walking backwards into the bushes :P

Well... If I suddenly disappear from the forum, it means that I found something that no one should have found yet (even though it's hard NOT to find it, because it's on the store page). :D

I really hope that they have the source code and the rights to create a remaster.

I hope so too. Even if they don't have the source code I hope they do something with SiN Gold (other than just release it on Steam as it is), and maybe even create more episodes.

I dunno but hopefully they might finish episodes(unless they only have the rights to Sin GOLD?) or make a sequel/followup to it.

Knowing them, they'll just "flashy thing" ya and leave ya dazed and confused near your home. ;)

As long as they just fix bugs and make the graphics a bit more HD(and other similar fixes/tweaks)......I don't wanna see a meh remaster ala Gabriel Knight 1 20th Anniversary.

This as well, as long as they don't try to shoehorn it in between the games or as a prequel(and possibly mess with canon/lore in the process).

Personally speaking, I'd be more interested in a full release of the source code so it could be included in sourceports that already support Quake 2. Sin is a Quake 2 engine game after all...

IMO that's the only positive thing that can come from NDS meddling with a game.
I wouldn't mind some new episodes if NDS does indeed have the full rights. Otherwise, a remaster will do just fine as well.
Maybe that gif means they are backtracking on something they have said before? Just guessing here.
