Running Windows 11 64 bit and trying to reinstall SimCity4 Deluxe but at the end of the installation process I get a message that says there is an internet connection issue and the game cannot install. This is not true as I have been downloading programs for the last two days, 2 of them just this morning, and every program has installed and is running correctly. I have used SimCity 4 Deluxe for years on Windows 10 64 bit without issue.
Question, how do I get around this phony message and install the game.

I have tried using GOG help and it is totally useless, it will not allow me to connect with a human!

Dave
Just download the offline installers.
Gog support was pretty bad before but now there's no point even trying to contact them unless you want to get more pissed off from the bot.

Just go to https://www.gog.com/account and download the game there and install.

If you're having connectivity issues with Galaxy, it's probably something on your end.
Most likely permission/administrative rights, AV, Defender, UAC. It's also prone to regional outages for some reason, just the other day it was kicked off for a few hours and I couldn't open it.

Save yourself the headache and just get the offline installer and do that route. If you get Galaxy working later it's easy to import.
