Quick question on the release of Silent Hill 2 on GOG (and about time as well)

I recieved an email giving me a code to get the following discount.

The code contains 2 items. In order to add them to your account you need to be logged in first. Code expires on May 11, 2025, 8:00 AM.

but when i click on the game and go to purchase, it sneakily has a gremlin that is putting Tariffs on it and removing 5% of the discount..showing only 30% off at £41.99

Is this a bug or incorrect pricing by Trump

Doing the math on the numbers shown in your screenshot (59,99 x 0,65 = 38,99 and 69,99 x 0,65 = 45,49) shows, that those numbers are correct.
So, I'd say, the numbers in the email are incorrect.

Edit: oh wait...you wrote "go to purchase" aka: checkout?

Because the 30% off is the normal discount.

Its weird, they sent out an email with the top section which clearly shows the price and discount at

-35% £ 59.99 = 59.99 x 0.35 = 20.996 round that to +1 so 21.00 - 59.99 = £ 38.99

Yet, when i click on the offer to buy it, it shows, 30% at 59.99 = £41.99

no big deal tbh, just misleading. Can get it cheaper else where once in stock. for £26.99

Confused, the original email offer is for 35% off

Yes - the email discount is 35% off.
The normal (= non extra 5% email) discount is 30%.

If I now click on the game and go to checkout (I don't have an email discount code), I get 30% off.

To get the email discount, you must check the box(es) of the game(s), which you want to buy (while logged in, of course) and then proceed to checkout.

Don't simply click on the game(s) to go to their store page. There it will only give you the 30% discount.

You click the "Redeem Discount" button from your email which launches the Redeem code gog page, press continue and we're on the page shown in your screenshot.
You then choose which game you want and click on the "Redeem" green button to transfer you to the payment page with the -35% discount.
Did you redeemed the discount?

I'm all signed up for email notifications, and I rarely get these extra discount offers. When I do get them, it's usually for a game from a genre I have no interest in. I am interested in this game, but no offer yet. Guess I'll just wait then.

Frustrated.
