So... I bought the Wrath of Ashardalon D&D board game today, unpacked it, read the rules, and, since among the various scenarios to play is also a single player adventure, I played that to learn how to play it and see what it's like. And then I realised that I spent Valentine's playing a D&D board game. Alone.
And the saddest part? It was fun :D The game is fun, with all the miniatures and the dungeon tiles it has that old-school D&D feel despite being a much faster and more accesible game, and it was just plain fun to explore the dungeon, roll my d20 and kill some kobolds.
So, is that the ultimate "forever alone" scenario, or does anyone have me beat?
