Well, he was 90.
RIP. I'm more surprised that he was still alive. :P

Old people die. They're kind of the closest ones in line after sick people and kamikazes.
Sorry, I had to google who he is. Not familiar with the guy, probably because the Johnny Carson or David Letterman shows have never really been shown here, I guess. More of an US thang then I guess (and any other countries where those TV shows were shown).

But it is always sad when someone dies. Except Hitler.
I loved this guy, much respect to a legendary master of comedy.

I just realized, if he could speak, he'd probably be making fun of us for mourning him. :P

Rickles even insulted Superman, when Jack Kirby ,in his run of Jimmy Olsen, brought Don into t he DC universe back in 1970.

i wonder when will i ever see a thread named "RIP tinye" (^_^) "Well, he was 90" - i'd say "well, he was a jerk"
Ever shitty, Rickles was always a hoot. When it came to celebrity roasts, you could always rely on Don to completely scorch whoever was being roasted.

Tonnes of funny videos on Youtube with Rickles. Worth watching some of the late night comedy show interviews with him on Youtube. He would sometimes drop in on the Carson show or Letterman and just walk on while another guest was being interviewed, hijacking their interview. Definitely the master of the insult. :)
RIP
what a funny guy, a longtime democrat too.. rest in peace dude!
