supplementscene: Thank You for the list. Have you re-visited any of the 20+ year old games in the last decade? I ask because gamers say they love the original Deus Ex, but I played it recently and I really do not think it holds up today
I only have so much time. So some I have played quite recently risen 1-3 for instance (2 I really like, would avoid 3), diablo original with various mods. Problem is different people like different things and are willing to put up with different requirements. For instance some can’t play without an automapper, so there is a few for instance:

If you can’t do old school, then go for a more modern one. I didn’t like deus ex either, or any of the series.
There are reimplements too, like OpenMw for Morrowind which helps bring it more up to date.
You mean a mediocre RPG?
You mean that "yet another Bethesda title needing modding to be up to scratch" game?

Regardless, I do think it should come here because yes, it's popular enough to sell, and it will sell well. Thing is though ... yeah, Bethesda/Microsoft. Probably not going to happen for years to come. It's likely not up to GOG, I'm sure they've reached out to Bethesda for this one on more than occasion.

So is it about bringing Skyrim or greatest RPG of all time to GOG?
don't we already have the greatest RPG of all time here?

Personally disagree with Jade Empire (it's mediocre) and I think Dragon Age: Origins is vastly overrated. Played Diablo for the first time like...3-4 years ago and really liked it. I think it holds up pretty well and I also think it's preferable over the sequel if you favor atmosphere and general feeling over the grind and more mechanics. Also caught up on Vampire: The Masquerade at around the same time and it's awesome (some clunky combat aside). After I finished the game, I had a really strong urge to fire it up again and play a different clan. (The haunted hotel is the best level.)

supplementscene: Give me your top 10 lists gentlemen. I haven't ventured much out of the Witcher series, Oblivion, Gothic 1 and 2

I started Skyrim but I never felt at home with it like I did with Oblivion

Johnson444: If Skyrim came to GOG my life would be complete. Have GOG even approached Bethesda about making this happen? I mean at this point its literally free money for Bethesda.
To answer you, GOG has absolutely approached Bethesda (getting Skyrim here would be huge for them, bring in a lot of money), but Bethesda doesn't want to for probably multiple reasons: Creation Club porting to Galaxy (controversial), or having to spend time removing for a GOG version; not much money to be made here compared to Steam; DRM-free; maybe all of the above and/or more. edit: oh and Microsoft like nightcraw1er.488 mentioned.

You could try contacting Bethesda if you wanted, can't hurt to make your voice heard but don't expect the game to show up any time soon.

Crosmando: Jade Empire? Really?
Yeah, I was on the fence about including that one. It is different and I enjoyed a playthrough a couple of times. It was just a quick list from memory, and the term RPG is quite a wide thing, I didn’t have fallout on the list, or temple of elemental evil, or some of the modern day grid based games, or some of the modern games which I personally haven’t played yet (serpent in the stag lands is a popular one), or any of the rogue games. The list is pretty endless. (Bards take just sprang to mind).
