TrickStyle, an arcadey hoverboard racer, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com.

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's your next-door neighbor!
In a distant future where jobs are few and hardly necessary, people have to keep busy somehow. Some watch television, some hop on rocket-powered hoverboards and make an afternoon out of it. TrickStyle is a game where speed and style reign supreme. Here, you'll zoom along twisted, neon-laced futuristic landscapes (a pleasant change of pace from the grungy dystopian settings we're so used to), master increasingly more complex tricks, and get to play around with each hoverboard's unique physics. Beautifully animated tricks and tons of personality make TrickStyle an absolutely unique, and certainly still worth trying, classic.

Eat your heart out, pro-skaters, TrickStyle is in town - DRM-free on GOG.com.
Nice to see some variety for sure. Still waiting for more classics from AAA pubs, though.
Played this one on the DC (puru puru pack, huge tv and a nice couch) a decade and a half ago, fun game and stunning visuals for the time.
Played this one on my clunky ass pc back in the day, crt with a screwed tube and a crappy keyboard... said to myself "oh boy the dc version is so much better".

Guess I gotta revisit this, uh, "gem"? :P
It's kind of amusing how 16 years later, you can almost kinda convince people Trickstyle is an okay game. At the time, it was pretty clear that it was all flash with dismal gameplay.
Interesting. Very Interesting Indeed. I've never heard of this game, kind of reminds me of Jetboat Superchamps from 1999.. Does anyone remember that one? ; p

Impaler26: Nice Release! Already have the game on a magazine CD so wishlisted for now.
Me too ! It was bundled in a PC magazine with ShadowMan.
A game to play between two AAA games, just to feel like Marty McFly !
Will buy on the first discount, this is an awesome game that spawned so much memories :)
Wow, I only ever knew this game as Sonic Riders :D
wow, great game lol :D
I have a boxed copy from back in the day :D

tremere110: I played this on dreamcast. It was a really fun little gem. The PC version I never bought because my understanding was that it was a craptacular port.

But maybe it was fixed? I kinda doubt it - maybe someone could clarify.
But my understanding is it's awesome!

Oh hell yeah. I was actually going to fire the game up anyway as I found my original CD recently. Haven't played it in more than ten years but as I recall it was tons of fun. It's probably worse than I remember it but I will very gladly give it another try.
Does the game have a windowed mode by any chance? Or does it have Xbox 360 controller compatibility?
This looks so much like an early 2000's techno eletronical rave future insanity fest...

I will have to nab it in the future.
And does the game use nGlide? (Just checked the compatibility list and it was on there)

As a follow-up question, does it have a Direct3D or OpenGL alternative?
I am really intrigued by a Dreamcast game here. I wonder whether it runs under WINE/linux. Has anyone tried?
