IAmSinistar: If you want to see real hatred here, wait for GOG to release a HOG (hidden object game). There would be so many outcries of "GOG selling out to the casual market" that the forum would crash for a week.
You mean like releasing a Nancy Drew game?
Cool - one can never have too many adventure games. Unfortunately I a bit broke right now - so this one will have to wait.
My apologies. Since when does anything i say here actually get read?

I was NOT referring to most people that asked whether or not I was referring to them. Sorry for disrupting conversation better related to this nice-looking release. :)
Nice to see here. Not for me but good release for anyone who enjoys an adventure or two.
Nice one, thanks Nordic & GOG.
OOOO! I've never heard of this. I love P&C adventures and to me there will never be too many in my library to play! It looks interesting and good enough and is very tempting at this discount, but I hear there is a sale impending and I think it will be wiser for me to wait for that for to get something that may be more desirable. Hmmmm, very very tempting though!

Does anyone know the amount of hours this game has?

Well I don't think we will get a higher discount that quickly. The price is quite right and the game seems good enough for point'n click lovers. I looked for the duration of the game and saw on jeuxvideo.com in the review that the game was ~8h long.

Except that the Nancy Drew games are not HOGs.

But they are casuals. The have Nancy Drew in their title, they are not serious games.

Ah, it was a fun thread.
Never heard of this game, but the story sounds interesting and so I will probably pick it upfor the discounted price.

I have to say that I wonder about the normal price of $14.99 though. Seems quite high to me regarding that it is an eleven-year-old game and that it's not really a famous classic in it's genre.

Forgive me, for a moment there I forgot how hardcore everyone and their cat is.

*ponders if should go dig up and read that thread*
It was a good thread, yes - but not a great thread. I enjoyed it, but YMMV ofc.

GOG.com deffo needs Saints Row 4.

And Johnathan Boakes really scratches my Acorah/Fielding itch :) For me personally, The Lost Crown - more than his other games - recreates the subtle atmosphere of the classic 1970s BBC TV "Ghost Stories for Christmas"
Holy shit! Out of the blue, I was just thinking to myself yesterday "I wonder if GOG would have The Moment Of Silence on their site?" I check here later, and there it is!

So it's finally happened then. I've merged with the GOG hive mind and I'm being spammed updates through telepathy.

Wouldn't be so bad, but I didn't think much of the game when it was released. I thought the graphics on it were a bit dated at the time and could have been done better.

Okay then, let's see if this works the other way....

"I wonder if GOG would have Call Of Cthulhu: Dark Corners Of The Earth on their site?"

;)

This is your mind speaking. Message as follows - Maybe, if someone can clear out the bugs so GOG Support doesn't want to commit mass suicide from all the complaints.
