If it has been on the gamecard when you purchased it you can definitely refund it from a legal point of view.
.. and Japanese text & audio is back on the game card again .. wwut.

Well, if they say so, then I must try that. But something feels off. "The other installer" is supposed to be Chinese, right?

So I'd totally expect that to give me the game in Chinese and my original question would still stand: how do I switch to Japanese? :| Oh well.. let's see what happens...

EDIT: result exactly as expected ...

EDIT2: As I feared. "My apologies for the misunderstanding. Japanese text is not available after all, only voice over." And the game card looks as expected now.
