Piero le Fou.

is now available DRM-free on GOG.com. You can now also grab the game's [url=https://www.gog.com/game/milanoir_original_soundtrack]Soundtrack for your ever-growing collection.
Thanks to a generous benefactor, unlucky no-gooder Piero gets out of jail early, ready to exact his revenge on the fool who set him up. Naturally, things get very complicated very fast, so shooting the pixels out of everybody else will be essential to surviving the mean streets of Milan. Over-the-top action and funky tunes ensue - just like in any good Italian crime romp from the '70s.
Pierre Loutrel aka "Pierrot le Fou" was no angel, but I always have found intriguing that it became a "meme"

I don't think anybody outside of France has ever even heard of Pierre Loutrel (including me). The headline was probably referring to the French nouvelle vague movie of the same name.
Is this game de-listed already or blocked in Germany?

It's not blocked, the link the new post is just broken because of the forum.

I thought that the latter was very loosely inspired by the former, but the Wikipedia page explicitly says they're unrelated... now I'm even more confused...
Patch was released a couple of hours ago on Steam. From the description it looks like it might make this hot mess playable (most importantly, they have apparently fixed the horrid checkpoint system). Hope to see this show up here soon!
