I was going to say Jamestown, but it looks like it never actually came to GOG. I must have gotten it on Humble (where it's no longer there, either. :()

Do the Raiden games have local coop? I don't remember.

Not using controllers, but some Civilization games (and some other turn-based strategy games) have hot-seat multiplayer, where you take turns at the computer.

Enter the Gungeon is perfect for this. It even has a character only available in co-op :)
