I own IWD2, NWN1 and NWN2 OC, MOTB, SOZ - as I recall, it is NW2 Platinum

Below 8 euros, if its posslbe. If it not, I would think about my requirements

Dragon Age Origins seems like the obvious choice. A lot of character customization, choices, good story and characters, graphics are ok I think - nothing about it is mindblowing, but it's very solid at what it does.

Breja beat me to it - if you liked NWN and haven't played Dragon Age yet, that seems like the perfect fit. Good price, too.

Pillars of Eternity might be to your liking, as well, but it's a lot more expensive.

Or, if it doesn't have to be medieval fantasy, try Shadowrun Dragonfall.

In the strategy genre, maybe and [url=https://www.gog.com/game/spellforce_2_anniversary_edition]Spellforce 2?

Agree with Breja about DAO. Also if you liked IWD2, you can get Baldur's Gate 2, it has much better story than IWD2 and a lot of content to keep you busy and you can reach very high levels

If you like strategy with battles in hexagon map, spells, adventure map, Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete is another classic.

What kind of strategy games do you like, because there are tons to suggest. Realtime/Turn-based/some simulation elements/city or base building?

Im only interested in fantasy games or similar.

Im not fond of KOTR, Spellforce, might and magic...

I forgot to write that I own BG2EE and I got DAO in Origin givaway years ago. I also own medieval 2 total war and Im quite fond of m2tw.

I also played CK2, at my friend house, but I dont own it. It was most lovely experience.
Im not sure what kind of strategy I love. I love m2tw because princesses, silly me, and ck2 due to role-playing aspect.

Except for the character customization, this made me think of Age of Wonders 3.

You can also try Dungeon Siege 1, but it has way less freedom in character customization than the second game.

You like fantasy and strategy and don't like might & magic? That's gonna be a problem, rules out a lot of related/similiar games.

How about Blackguards? Good team-based RPG with tactical, turn based combat. The story isn't great, just serviceable, and character customization is so-so (choices of class and skills, but not much in terms of race/appeariance etc.) Really my only major complaint about is that the random virtual dice rolls can screw you over in a fight no matter how well you play, and they do screw you over often. But if you have the patience to deal with it, there's a good RPG experience there.


Really the best game I could possibly recommend you is Drakensang, but sadly it's not on GOG. But if you can track down a copy- do so. It had great graphics (at least for it's time, but I think it still holds up well enough), immensly fun gameplay if you like team-based RPGs, and great freedom in creating and leveling up you character. The world and story are definately very cliched high fantasy, but honestly I don't think that's bad. If you like that kind of setting it's always a joy to see that kind of adventure done so right. One of my favourite RPGs.

TBH, Age of Wonders looks nice.

I tried Age of Wonders too, but found it rather difficult, even on the easiest setting. I really prefer Heroes of Might and Magic 3, which basically is the same game, but (in my opinion) more approachable and more varied in its gameplay and setting. But that is just me :-)

and the combat allows for a lot more interesting and effective tactics than the juggernaut of the genre : HoMM.

If you're interested in a more Warhammer type dark fantasy atmosphere, then Disciples 2 is the way to go. The screenshots are horribly low quality on the gog page though, so instead look at those on the steam page. The combat isn't as interesting as AoW, but it looks phenomenal.

I've considered Drakensang at one point, but tried out Path of Exile instead. Have you tried it? I'd be curious to know how the two match up. Path of Exile is very Diablo2-y only more interesting. Unfortunately because the levels are randomly generated, the environments, though good looking, aren't as interesting as they could be.
