So apparently there is an unofficial patch for RoM2 that enables widescreen resolutions:

Update: GOG somehow messes the link. Just delete "u/en/about" in address bar to reach the site.

Yeah, the graphics patch doesn't seem to work for the English version. It just turns your game into the Russian version.

EDIT: Apparently you need the "Unofficial patch 13" but I don't see that on their site.

This site probably had files you are trying to find right now. Not sure if you are able to download them now though, but you can try anyway.

I can agree. Sometimes things can simply be lost in time even in the internet.

You can try your luck asking people in Rage of Mages community. Maybe someone has backed up these files and can share.
