The newest GOG offline installer has launchfix_v2 in its filename, so what specifically was updated on January 31st, 2025?

My guess would be it was added to the Preservation Program but the info is still missing on its page for some reason

Looks like a goof. Someone changed something and left the kit object in the filename. Which probably also breaks something in the game. Should ask the staff to check on it. At least having assurance the game is not broken, gives you peace of mind if it is nothing. If it is something wrong, then you help others.
