I didn't notice this until now that the remastered version took so long to release on GOG. Hopefully, the remastered version for the second part releases at the same time as Steam.

I hope so, but I wouldn't put much faith in it. Keeping low expectations in these situations is the better approach.

Whatever where the issues that made the first remake took so long to come to GOG, I hope they've been ironed out and so Quake II Remake can be brought here at the same time as the other stores, or at least, doesn't take too long to do so. But like I said, keeping low expectations on this.
