skeletonbow: Oh, one more thing... I just visited your Youtube channel and there's one thing that will cause you a big problem on Youtube. You're using Indiana Jones name and trademarks, copyrighted images on your channel and its name. That might not cause any problems when you have very few viewers, but if your channel grows what will happen is that at some point in time the lawyers out there will take notice and force you to remove Indiana Jones, graphics trademarks from your page and it will affect your ranking and account on Youtube negatively.

If you want to become popular on there you will need to use your own graphics/name/artwork that is not copyrighted or trademarked by some other party, or it will come back to haunt you later on if you do become popular. Would suck to find a niche and get all kinds of web links and other positive stats to have a legal problem take it all away later on and essentially make you start over from scratch with a new name.

Don't mean to be the purveyor of bad news, but that's what happens. :(
Thanks for all the info and feedback!!! As far as I can tell the biggest issue is the banner, right?

skeletonbow: - Very important - decide upon a schedule for when you will post new videos, and post at least 1 or 2 new videos a week. Always post them on the same day at the same time. This consistency is important
I'm not sure about that.
Due to the Subscription list, I notice every selected channel's video, even if they post once a year randomly.
It's more important to gain subs due to quality.
However, the competition is absurd nowadays..

At this point i am posting videos every day. But that's because it like to do it this way. I believe my quality is improving but then again I just started so it's far from perfect.

It's ok then, good luck ;)

I am sure about it. :) Go watch just about every top youtuber speak about this - people who have millions of subscribers, not Joe Blow. They all state that having a consistent schedule for the release of videos gives a big shot in the arm for viewership. There are exceptions to this for some Youtubers who get great views posting sporadically such as iJustine for example, but exceptions do not make the rule, and when people have as many followers as those on top, the normal rules don't always apply.

For someone just starting out however, listening to what the actual pros on Youtube have to say is beneficial because they've learned the ropes and done it and are popular already. If you actually go watch the experts talk about how to become popular on Youtube, you will find that every single one of them stresses the importance of having a consistent Youtube schedule and posting it on their channel. While it isn't an absolute requirement to do so in order to do good, it is something proven to work so it is recommended.

Anything containing copyrighted or trademarked images, names, etc. more or less. I'd completely lose anything having to do with Indiana Jones and come up with something completely original including all original artwork etc. Copying things for free off the Internet just causes problems down the line if/when you become popular unless they are licensed under a license that permits usage, such as one of the appropriate Creative Commons licenses.

https://creativecommons.org/

You can search for "Free images creative commons" and similar for free content to use, just be sure to read the licenses and that your usage of the content is permitted by the licenses. There are tonnes of free things out there that are usable including background music, sound effects, you name it. Enjoy! :)
