Come on, give the guy a little push, voice overs would be nice to have.
Also keep nagging him about releasing on GOG :)

Edit: Here's the Demo

Makes no sense to nag him (or anybody else).
As always, it needs two to tango, and so far there is no game yet, that could be released here (planned release time: December 2025).

Well, I learned, that many devs don't even even consider to apply for a release on GOG until they were asked to.
And by now we know that GOG is willing to accept games that are in a early stage and has done so repeatedly.
If not, then no kickstarter game ever could offer a GOG release, but I backed a couple of such games over time and so far not a single one of these was canceled.

Well, you were lucky then.

I'm still waiting (not really) for a game, I backed in 2016 (planned release was set for 2017).

In regard to all the drama that unfolded in its "delay's" wake...I don't expect it to ever see a release.

Though I will admit that that was also the only "I paid money for nothing" experience, that I had.

Nonetheless, it kept me from ever giving money again, to any other KS.
I was atlking purely about GOG releases.

There have been two setbacks
"Duke Grabowski: Mighty Swashbuckler!"
That game didn't meet the expectations by far. It was a nice short adventure, but I really expected more from it. I got the game as direct download from Google Drive ...

The other one was "Perception"
The game did arrive on GOG, as promised. But it contained a game breaking bug and was never updated.
After a while it was removed from GOG as well.

I am still waiting for System Shock, it looks as if they try to break Duke Nukems record.

The last game that was delivered was Sherlock Holmes The Awakened. I got the GOG key the other day and wait now for the release on April 11.

The devs on kickstarter usually are much more reliable than the ones who get funds through Patreon or other subscription platforms, usually having SOME sort of plan how their product should be in the end. I backed something over 30 games in total and one music album. All besides the ones mentioned above worked out just peachy.
I can live well with delays, those don't bother me. These happen with A+ productions as well (*cough* Vampire Bloodlines 2 *cough*). A few months more or less does not make much of a difference. But I usually want to see some gameplay and a demo before putting my money into it and I ignore unrealistic projects like creating a Commandos clone for 7000$.

This dev seems to know what he's doing, the demo looks good, the graphics are neat, locomotion is good.
This look promising and with some good voice actors (Broken Sword series was brillant) for the stretch goal.
Downloaded the demo. I will await the final release, since I am not much for Kickstarter.

Then let's just hope that the last 2000$ required for full voice acting will come from somewhere else :D
Nowadays, I'm not inclined to back games unless the dev already planned GOG (or any platform that doesn't require a client) from the start.

Right, the goal is in EUR and it was displaying the current reached amount in USD.

Well, he said he'll try, but he can't promise due to GOGs curation policy.

You are right ... it's EUR of course. I am so used to Dollar prices ...
Currently they are at 33'031€, meaning 1'969€ are still needed for the voice acting.

They got to the stretch goal: English voice acting.

Finished at €39089.
Promising looking game that I will watch for being released in the future. Thanks for making me aware of this game.
