I am trying to claim the giveaway but when I claim it, the web asks me to log in (already logged in) and when I do, it redirects me to home, I claim again and it asks me to login again.

I am doing something wrong?

Might simply have to do with an overload of the site due to requests.
With the sale having started today and a game given away for free - the load on the site is probably pretty high just now.

Wait a few hours, and try again later.

(I noticed an unusual long loading time for the "Claim Free Game" button to appear)

I had no problems claiming it in the galaxy client earlier today.

but the loading times seems to be quite high currently.

Are you clicking the claim button on the front page or are you going to the game's entry and clicking on Go to Giveaway?

I don't know if you're doing anything wrong. I've seen others with the same problem before, but I don't think we ever discovered what the issue was (or I just don't remember).

I have tried to go to the game's page and from there click on claim to take me to home and it worked.

When this has happened to me, loading up gog in a different browser I don't normally use (Edge) everything works fine. Seems sometimes the site and/or browser keep your login state & it's a PITA to fix it.
