today i bought on GOG.com The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine as a gift. I just need the key to turn it into a steam key on the official website from CD Project Red.
But i cant see the key. There is an error with "you need the base game" when i try to activate the game.

Is there a way to see the key?

I know what gog is. Sadly i bought Witcher on steam.
But you can (only for Witcher) turn the gog keys into steam keys on the official Witcher site.

So again: Is there a way to see the key?

If you bought a GOG key, then you need the base game on GOG as well. In that case you will get the game+DLC on GOG. Not on Steam. You can't buy Steam keys here.

If you that doesn't suit you, you can ask support for a refund if less then 30 days have passed since purchase.

(Unless there is some weird promotion that lets you convert GOG keys into Steam that I'm not aware of... The GOG anti-connect...)

It does say in big red letters "Code exchange works only for the GOG.com game codes contained in the boxed Limited Edition of both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions. It won't work for other versions of expansions nor with the base game codes."

The conversion process should only work on GOG keys found in the physical version of Blood and Wine. Still, if you want to give it a shot, go to the link below:

At the top of it, you should find a 20-digits code. Copy it, paste it to the exchange site and see if it works.

Not sure. According the witcher page posted above you should have boxed version of expansions. Not GoG version. But no have any experience with it. Or maybe I misunderstood it correctly.

Yes but some people just did it with gog-online keys, so will give it a chance to let the money here and not on steam.

I can only see the gift- and not the actual gamekey as long as it is not activated.

No, you don't need to activate a key to get it; it should be fully shown. Look for an example at the image I have attached below.

Is this really the gamekey? Okay then i fucked up because this key does not work.
