Was this already mentioned around here? Didn't see it. So, as the title says, Paradox bought Triumph, so I guess we can expect $90 ($110 for the EU, unless you're in Denmark in which case it's $130) Age of Wonders Overpriced Edition, price increases wherever there's any way to get away with it, and 20 DLCs over the next year...

I think the everyone referred to n the above sentence does not include customers?
But yes, be prepared for he game to be torn into tiny little bits and piecemealed out.

Triumph has already started releasing pre-order exclusives, day-1 DLCs and DLCs that shouldn't be sold separately so it's pretty bad already.

Does Triumph still works on Age of Wonders 3? I wish Paradox would make them release a GOG Linux version of it. That is all I ask.

While that is certainly true, I have to state my opinion on the Paradox DLC issue. While most for, let's say, Crusader Knights 2, are just some variation of a skin pack, major DLCs are a real game changer in the literal sense. And if you don't buy the DLC, you still get the update, although the light version.

When I first heard about Paradox, they were known as the small developer who made hardcore niche strategy games. Five years later, they have become the super-greedy company that releases dozens of DLCs. They should do something about PR.

Or maybe just rethink their DLC policy.

They are working on PR, its just coming in very little bits over a long period of time...
