Hi folks,
I have never purchased a game on here. Do I get an installation file so I can re-install if I get a new computer?
Thanks in advance,
Chelsea01.
Yes, offline installers for the games you buy can be downloaded and kept on your computer or cd/dvd/flash drive and reinstalled whenever you want. Including on a different computer.

Probably a dumb question, but where do I get the download please.

Go over your profile section (in the "store", "about", "community", "support" row above, there should be "chelsea01"), then down to games and left click, this opens your library.
Then click on the game you want, there to "Download offline backup game installers".

In Galaxy (1 -- I'm not using 2 yet), just click your game and click install to get the game. If you want the backups, click the game and then click MORE and then click "Backups & Goodies."

For GOG website, hover over your account icon on the top of this screen and select "Games." Then click the picture of the game you want. You'll see on the bottom of the list a section called "Download Offline Backup Game Installers." Those are your backups (or if you want to install without GOG Galaxy).

are you using galaxy or web based (firefox, crome, etc)
if your using galaxy you can install it on another computer and download games that way. or
you can go into downloads on the computer you intitialy started on and look for the set up and aditional files and load them on a DVD RW or usb stick then transfer them to the new computer

...Except don't click the account name/icon, but rather hover the mouse cursor over it, then click "Games" from the dropdown menu. (Clicking your account name just takes you straight to your profile feed, from which you can access a list of your games...but not download anything. Many an inexperienced user has gotten confused by this.)

I still do that with the various tabs in the menu above from time to time....I also dislike how they made it so that moving off the small menus closes them automatically.....one wrong slip and you need to open them again. :\

Fixed. Thank you!
