Sorry if this is NOT the 'board' to ask for opinion(s) between 2 games and which to purchase...

I'm trying to decide the purchase (first) between 2 games: 'Wildermyth' and 'Vagrus - The Riven Realms'. They both look incredible!

Any input is MUCH APPRECIATED! Thank you!

Well, Wildermyth is cheaper! ;)

Tbh, I hadn't heard of Vagrus until now, but I did play through Wildermyth last year and wrote down some of my opinions in this thread (second half of the post). If you have any specific questions about it, I can try to answer them as well (if I still remember).

EDIT: I did not play the GOG version though, so I can't say to what extent it supports the community mods and where to get them from.

Yes, 'Wildermyth' is cheaper, but I don't mind the cost delta if there's 'bang for the <insert your country's monetary unit here :-)>'

Definitely wildermyth......

There's some new and cheesy going on with that one. Though..... if you're one for long-lasting drama's Vagrus might just be the thing for you
