When I was hanging out at the local arcade playing King of Fighters back at the time, there was this 70yo grumpy grandpa that'd always hang around that particular cab, join in as P2 in the middle of people's runs without asking, and consistently beat the crap out of them. Everybody hated the guy's guts.

Already back in the late 80s/early 90s, it became kinda legendary when it was revealed that our well-liked president back then (Mauno Koivisto) was big on playing 8bit Nintendo games. It was hard to envision that tall, big-handed, distinguished statesman with a tiny Nintendo gamepad in his big hands, but I guess odder things have happened too.

He still lives I think, so I wonder what kind of gaming gear he has nowadays? I wouldn't be surprised he has used all of his well-earned pensioner years for playing games, maybe he even has a GOG account?
