imsaneuk: Came back after long time and their was 3 role playing games same series nos 1 to 3 by German company.
Can not remember name but had 1 of them and fantastic old style role play.
Cant see them on here as would remember so has gog deleted a lot of it's catalogue.?
Very few games get removed from the GOG catalogue over time and it is almost always by request of the publisher and most often due to legal issues or similar such as change of ownership. A large number of them come back to the store once the legal issues get resolved and/or the new owner and GOG get a new deal together. Example: Ceville was removed last year due to an ownership change and it has recently returned to the store.
A fairly small number of games get removed and have not returned either due to legal issues (in which case they're often removed from sale from other stores as well), or due to either a change of heart towards GOG or DRM-free of the owner, or a change of ownership where GOG hasn't been yet able to renegotiate a deal to have the given games returned. Other times there are technical reasons games don't return.
There is only once that a lot of games were removed all at once and that was the entire Nordic catalogue of 35 or so games a few years ago which was due to a temporary inability of Nordic to be able to sell their games here on GOG while honouring pre-existing contractual obligations they had elsewhere from what we were told more or less, however once they were able to sort that out they returned all of their games back to GOG and have brought more here since.
So in a nutshell, no - GOG has not deleted a lot of its catalogue however games occasionally do get removed. There is a thread in the forums that tracks game removals and any details known about why they were removed, you might want to search for it and see if it has any useful info as well.
