I go to my profile and the games tab which lists all my games, click the game and then it just brings me to a blank screen with a tidbit of info on the game. I googled how to download manually, and it says go to gog.com/account and that just bring me to the main game listings.

I don't want to get the downloader or galaxy. Is there no way to manually download a game now?

You are in the wrong place brah... hover over your account name and click games. This is what you want:

Use your hand to scroll down as well, once you've clicked on the game.

You can. When you click on a game in your library, scroll down and you'll see a section that says:

Download Offline Backup Game Installers.

If you're not seeing that, maybe the recent site update broke compatibility with your browser version. Try a newer browser and see if it works.

Also, when you hover over a game, a small down arrow will appear below the thumbnail. Click that and select "View Downloads" to make the links appear.
