Hmm, can't NOLF 1 to work in Windows 10. Nothing happens after I press "launch"

NOLF 2 does work however

Edit: Found the problem. I have the Logitech G933 headset and when I took out the USB stick for it, the game was able to launch. So I used a 3.5mm audio cord from the headset to my motherboard port for the onboard sound and was able to play it that way.

I got to say, I am so glad who ever put up this site and did the work to make these games work on modern systems and OS. I have been wanting to play these games for a while, but I don't know where they are at in my storage, I have the disks somewhere, not they will work on Windows 10 anyways because they are protected by Safedisc or Securom which are no longer work in Windows 10.

So I have been playing NOLF 1 for about 30 minutes now, and that game is still fantastic.

I remember in the old days when it seemed like most FPS that released were original and a lot of fun, but now days the vast majority of them are crap and unoriginal, like 100% of the open world FPS are all crap. What happened?

AAA publishers got greedy, employed management staff who care only about whiny investors instead of gaming itself, hence everything must be made as risk-free as possible to maximize revenue for their pitiful little limos.

Budgets got bigger, and creativity is risky. It might be amazing or it might flop, and corporations don't care about making the best cult classic in human history if it doesn't translate into money. They prefer to make another cookie cutter AAA title that gives them predictable +X% income.

Subjectivity happened.

YaTEdiGo: Mechwarrior 2, 3 and 4 (I don´t really care about the first one)

Plokite_Wolf: With MechWarrior titles, the IP owner is known - Microsoft. The fifth title was recently announced, too. As for MW4 Mercenaries, it was freeware until a few years ago when the studio who was in charge of its maintenance abandoned it for "other projects" (none that I can see). All MW titles would be valuable in a re-release, but someone needs to convince Microsoft that they're worth something, and to apply community solutions for MW3 and the like.

I think the same goes for MechCommander.
I hope so!!

I have the disc versions, and Windows 10. Both games work fine.
